CUT 1 — 0:00–0:03] Extreme close-up on rushing white water churning over ancient moss-covered rocks. Camera sits at water level — the river filling the entire frame, cold and violent and alive. Beneath the surface dark shapes moving fast upstream. Pull back slightly revealing a massive Alaskan river — dense pine forest on both banks, golden morning light cutting low across the water surface in blinding shafts. Then — a salmon launches from the water. Then another. Then another. The river suddenly alive with leaping silver bodies catching the light like thrown blades. Deep powerful orchestral music begins — low, building, primal. [CUT 2 — 0:03–0:07] Wide shot — a massive grizzly bear stands dead center in the rushing river, water breaking white around his enormous legs, head low, eyes locked on the chaos of leaping salmon around him. The bear rises on his hind legs simultaneously, water erupting around his legs in a cathedral of white spray frozen in slow motion. His jaws open wide. The salmon hangs suspended mid-air — scales catching every shard of morning light, body twisting, mouth open, perfectly alive in this final suspended second. His jaws close around it. The collision — water exploding outward in every direction simultaneously, a perfect circular shockwave of white spray radiating outward in slow motion. [CUT 4 — 0:11–0:15] He lands back in the river, both front paws crashing down sending a second massive wave erupting outward. Slow motion — water cascading off his enormous shoulders, salmon locked firmly in his jaws still thrashing silver in the morning light. He turns slowly toward the bank, water pouring off his fur in heavy sheets. Camera low at water level looking up at him — enormous against the pine forest and pale sky behind him. He walks toward the bank unhurried, river breaking around his legs. Close-up on his face — salmon secured, eyes forward, completely unbothered. Wide final shot — he disappears into the tree line. The river continues rushing. Empty. Indifferent. Music drops to a single low resonant note then silence.
